Should I follow my dreams?
Not everyone has the opportunity to do what they enjoy after High School but I have been given the chance to continue playing soccer. Not only have I been given the chance to continue playing but I have been accepted to play in one of the top schools in England. This may not mean a lot to my classmates but this is a big deal for my family and I because I have to move to a new country and live by myself at a young age. I have worked hard in order for me be given this chance but I must be realistic with myself. Do I go follow my dreams and continue down this road or should I stop playing and focus on my career. I still have a couple of months to decide but please let me know your honest opinion.
1st of congratulations! 2nd you have been given an opportunity that so many people would kill to have and you worked hard for it. I believe that if you really love playing soccer then follow your dreams. Like you said you have a few more months left to make your decision follow what your gut is telling you to do. :)
ReplyDeleteJose I’m so proud of you. This is something you need to know do what makes you happy. I know a big majority of people do things to make their family happy, but you are going to be an adult soon, you must do what makes you happy. If you want to go to England and play soccer then go for it dude you will be amazing. But if you don’t want to then that’s fine to as long as you are pursuing what you love.
ReplyDeleteSoccer might just be your career, you just won’t know if you don’t pursue your dream. Think of all the people who wish had that opportunity. Not all of us get the chance to make a career out of something we love the most. Don’t worry about disappointing your family or friends if you choose to pursue soccer because many achievements require some sacrifices. Be willing to taking risks to achieve your goals because in the end, if you don’t take this opportunity you might regret in the long run. Hope everything works out for you.
