my favorite character in the book “heaven is for real” is the main character. his name is Todd Burpo. he is the father of the family, married to sonja burpo. they have two kids together and he is a pastor. the reason he is my favorite character is because he always makes an effort to fully support his family even if it means he has to make drastic sacrifices. he stood by his family through everything even when things got extremely hard for him. he got injured and was unable to work, but he still found a way to provide for his family. he also confides in his family to the fullest extent, which made him a good role model to the people at his church. he believed his son colton even though what he claimed was very unbelievable. his faith in god stayed strong through out the whole book and that is why i find him the most interesting character.
I don't know if you saw the movie to this but its really good. You should watch it.

ReplyDeleteHeaven is a place that most of us want to go to. religious believers of God will question things that only God will be able to answer. I always feel that some battles that I face are lessons that God wants me to capture before I make the big mistake. In perspective, the battle is not mine, it is the lord's. I believe that I would enjoy this book because it is about a boy who tells about a place that everyone wants to go to.
