Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick
This book is about a fallen angel named Patch who considers it his responsibility to take care of a young girl named Nora. Overall, Patch is my favorite character because throughout the novel you question his intentions and who he is. For most of the story, he is a mysterious guy that Nora is determined to figure out, no matter what it takes. However, even though she tries endlessly to find any information on him she does not succeed, which only makes Patch a more intriguing character. Every time Nora would try to get to know Patch, he would answer in a way that only left her with more questions. Patch is a dynamic character in this story because at first his only intention was to make sure she was okay, but this was only for personal gain. After he gets to know Nora, his intentions change and what he does from that point is purely out of love. This love grows into something bigger than what he imagined and changes his plans entirely because of his feelings for Nora. I found it interesting how Patch could interact with Nora in a way that no one else could and how he could understand her in a deeper and more meaningful manner.

As I was reading your summary I was wondering why the names sounded familiar, I’ve read this book before. I enjoyed the book series and the concept of him being a fallen angel and Nora being stuck in the middle of an ancient battle between the immortal and those that have fallen.
