Summary:
This book is about a girl named Fallon who once was a rising star until the day that left a burn scar stretching down the entire left side of her body. She meets a young man the day before her move across the country. Ben is a young literature student with the dreams of one day writing a novel. The day the pair meet becomes the day that they continue to meet for the next five years but here the catch they don’t speak to each other through text or social media on the other days of the year Only November 9th. This becomes Ben’s inspiration for his novel which he titles “November 9” only the 9th that he remembers was the that changed their life forever.
Review:
I connected with Fallon from the first start of the book. She’s dark and angry but wants to be able to expose the emotions that are trapped deep inside. I would categorize her as a dynamic character due to the fact that she does go through a series of emotional and physical changes, but because she is so sporadic the book had a better way to express her story. This would be amongst the books to recommend to people because it has so many genres tied into it so it would be extremely hard for anyone to put down. Personally I like how the author made it as if Ben ( The guy Fallon Meets on 11/09) is writing it and how she incorporates just how much the two love each other without really knowing each other for that long. It also gives the gruesome and sad story behind the scar that stole her job and confidence and it a MAJOR plot twist. Y'all should read it!
