Until the Next Time

This realistic fiction novel is written by Kevin Fox and contains 388 pages. The novels starts out with the main character, Sean Corrigan, on his twenty-first birthday. He lives with his Irish family in New York, trying to forget the bad memories he has, such as his ex-girlfriend. As he’s barely waking up, his father gives him an old journal. The journal comes from his uncle Michael, which he has never met, or knew, in his life. Sean reads the the last journal entry, which is described in Michael’s point of view. Michael describes the fear he has as he’s holding a gun in front of a dead man. He didn’t know how it happened; everything happened in an instant. He notices the police and runs away, but the police follows him. Michael escapes to the point that the police thinks he died. As Sean finishes the last entry of his uncle, his father gives him airplane tickets and some gifts to give to his Irish relatives. His father wants him to go to Ireland to find out what happened to uncle Michael. Sean doesn’t like the idea, but he decides to listen to his dad and go to Ireland. There, he tries to find the people mentioned in the journal to ask any clues they have of his uncle to answer the question: did he really kill a man or not?
