Summary
My book follows a young girl name Mia and her family during a car accident which took the life of her parents and younger brother. As for Mia she has been battling in the in between struggling with her out of body experience which is allowing her to see everything that is happening around her without them seeing her. During this experience she starts to reflect on herself and her music career as well as her relationship with her boyfriend. Not forgetting that she is still in the hospital fighting for her life being faced with the decision if she wants to keep fighting for her life and become an orphan without having her family or just simply letting go and joining her family.
Review
The main character was just like any other teenage girl. She loved music and was in love with her boyfriend Adam. Although I do not feel somewhat connected to the main character I still do get emotional knowing what she has been through in this novel. The major plots were not predictable in my opinion because I have never read a book that shows someone battling in between life and death in this form. It is really a troubled experience that she faces when she is outside of her body and seeing life going on without her. I highly recommend that you should watch this movie before reading the book so you could get a better understanding of how she is dealing with this situation but be prepared to cry because it is really a great movie and book all together.
i saw this movie awhile back and i loved it ! the book sounds like it goes deeper in depth with the main characters emotions, and i'd love to eventually get to read it. such a great choice, and I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

ReplyDeleteI think that I would enjoy reading this book. Mia's situation in the novel really adds emphasis on the difficult choice that she will have to make.
ReplyDeleteI really liked this movie so maybe I should read the book. The ending of the movie wasn’t the best in my opinion. I believe that I would enjoy this book because it may might depict emotions with much more depth.
